Download Demo Live CD, based on Ubuntu Dapper 6.06 !

You can now experience a fully functional Retail Management System by downloading the software image of the Demo Live CD and following simple instructions to run it on your PC. Even though it might look like you are installing new operating system on your machine it is not so. It is perfectly safe to run it on your hardware as the Live CD is not writing anything to your hard drive or makes any changes to your existing settings.


The Live CD based on Ubuntu Dapper 6.06 has an option to install the system to your hard drive at the end of the session.

You will need the following:

• A PC with at least 512Mb of Ram;
• You do not require to have any space on your hard drive, as the demo does not write anything to your PC;
• CD writer to burn the image, the utility to do so (Nero Burning ROM or simillar) and a blank CD;

Instructions:

1. Download the ISO file to your hard drive;
2. Insert a blank CD into your CD writer;
3. Start Nero Burning ROM;
4. Follow the wizard and select Data CD;
5. When the wizard finishes, click Burn Image on the File menu;
6. In the Open dialog box, select the ISO file, and then click Open;
7. In the wizard, click Burn to create the Live CD;
8. Once your CD is ready, reboot your PC with the CD inside;
9. Enter BIOS and make sure that your boot sequence is set to CD Rom first and then Hard Drive;
10. Press "Enter" to load from the CD
11. Follow simple instructions by selecting your correct local settings;

Please note, the performance of the system will depend on the speed of your CD ROM and the RAM of your PC.
